How to use mask protection properly

Choose the right mask: Disposable medical masks should be replaced continuously for 4h, and should be replaced immediately if there is obvious pollution or wetness; The N95 medical protective mask should be replaced according to the environment and dust concentration of the user.

2. Pull up and down to fold, so that the mask covers the mouth, nose, and jaw.
3. Press the tips of your two fingers along the metal strip of the nose bridge from the middle to the sides and slowly press inward until it is close to the bridge of the nose.
4. Adjust the mask appropriately so that the periphery of the mask fits the face fully.

How to dispose of waste masks?

During epidemic prevention, hand hygiene should be done before and after removing the mask. Before discarding the discarded mask, it should be folded into a long strip and then tied with a hanging ear rope. When folding the mask, the mouth and nose contact surface should be facing outwards. If necessary, it should be disinfected with alcohol. The waste mask is put in the trash can, and the trash can is disinfected with 75% alcohol or chlorine disinfectant twice a day. The masks used by home quarantines should be boiled with water for 10-15 minutes before disposal, and then put into "other garbage" collection containers.

Precautions for disinfection

1. Before disinfection, cleanliness should be done first;
2. Disinfectants are irritating. Pay attention to personal protection when preparing and using them, wear masks, gloves, etc., and pay attention to prevent splashing to the eyes. Some disinfectants are corrosive and should be selected properly. After disinfecting the surface for at least 15 minutes, wipe it with water;
3. The disinfectant used should be used within the validity period, and the remaining liquid that has not been used must not be stored for use. Disinfectant must be prepared in clean cold water;
4. Disinfectant please configure according to the instruction manual of disinfectant;
5. cleaning tools such as rags, mops and containers should be used in different areas. Toilet cleaning tools should be separated from other areas. The used cleaning tools should be cleaned, disinfected, and dried for use;
6. After disinfection, the staff should wash their hands in time and keep a record of disinfection.

Common disinfectants and their preparation

1. daily cleaning and preventive disinfection are mainly cleaning, supplemented by preventive disinfection. Excessive disinfection should be avoided. Clean and disinfect at any time when contaminated.
2. Chlorine-containing disinfectants are irritating to the skin and mucous membranes. It is recommended to wear masks and gloves during deployment and use. Children should not touch them. Keep ethanol disinfectant away from sources of ignition.

Preparation method of chlorine-containing disinfectant with effective chlorine concentration of 500mg / L:

• 84 disinfectant solution (effective chlorine content 5%): diluted according to disinfectant solution: water ratio of 100;
• Disinfection powder (12-13% effective chlorine content, 20 g / bag): 1 bag of disinfection powder plus 4.8 liters of water;
• Chlorine-containing effervescent tablets (available chlorine content 480mg / tablet-580mg / tablet): 1 tablet dissolved in 1 liter of water (the specific configuration should be operated according to the instructions for use);
• 75% ethanol disinfectant can be used directly.
• Other disinfectants (such as daily household disinfectants of brands such as Wellex, Dilu, and Blue Moon) are formulated and used in accordance with the product label and identification to kill intestinal pathogenic bacteria.
